Verdict
The clearest difference is ads: Glorious TV at none against Abide's shown. Glorious TV also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and device support (4 vs 2). Abide's advantage is ratings volume (15K vs 4) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, rating, review sentiment and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.
Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS
Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Glorious TV against 4.9 for Abide. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Abide has 15K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 100% of Glorious TV's written reviews are positive against 95% of Abide's.
Glorious TV ships an update every 2 months, Abide every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
