Along Together

A shared history, kept by the people in it. Along Together is a timeline you write with someone. Not a feed, not a scrapbook, not a scoreboard — one line, running through Now, with what has happened below it and what you have planned above it. WHAT IT IS Every Timeline belongs to its members jointly. Anyone on it can add a Moment, edit one, or take it back. There is no owner, no approval step, and nothing waiting to be reviewed. A coffee counts as much as an anniversary; the small ones are what make a history dense rather than a list of five big days. THE HONEST HALF Real histories include the hard parts. A Hard Moment holds a Telling from each person — you write yours, they write theirs, and both sit on the card. Nobody can edit anybody else's. It is drawn seriously rather than in alarm colours, because a difficult day is part of the record and not a warning label. WHO EACH MOMENT IS FOR A Moment is for everyone on the Timeline unless you say otherwise. When it is not, the people it is not for do not see a locked card or a greyed-out row — they see a whole line with nothing missing from it. That is what makes one Timeline work for people whose lives are not symmetrical. YOUR HISTORY IS YOURS Export everything, any time, in a form you can read without us. If you stop paying, your Timelines stay readable and writable. If you leave, you take your history with you. NOTHING HERE MEASURES YOUR RELATIONSHIP There is no streak, no score, no completion bar, no weekly report card. Nothing counts what you have not done, and nothing sends you a notification about your own silence — you will only ever hear from this app because another person did something. IT WORKS ON A PLANE Write a Moment with no signal and it is a real Moment the instant you save it, photograph and all. It syncs when you land. AND IT NOTICES, ON YOUR PHONE ONLY The app can spot a plan in your conversation and offer to file it as a Moment. That noticing happens on your device and nowhere else. Nothing leaves your phone, and you can turn it off. ON YOUR HOME SCREEN Widgets for the next plan, a Moment from this day in an earlier year, and the line itself. A countdown on the lock screen for the week before you are in the same room again. FREE, AND TOGETHER One Timeline of your own is free forever, with unlimited Moments and unlimited members. The optional Together subscription — monthly or yearly, with a 14-day free trial — adds more Timelines, video, and room for more and sharper photographs and longer voice notes. One subscription covers every member of every Timeline you are on; the other person never sees a price. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase, or when the free trial ends. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and you can manage or cancel them in your Apple Account settings.
