Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: Blulory Watch at 3.7 against Zepp Active's 2.4. Blulory Watch also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 6 weeks) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 12.0). Zepp Active's advantage is ratings volume (41 vs 3) and review sentiment (10% vs 0%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
Blulory Watch holds the better App Store score, 3.7 against 2.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Zepp Active has 41 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of Blulory Watch's written reviews are positive against 10% of Zepp Active's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Blulory Watch ships an update every 2 weeks, Zepp Active every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
