The clearest difference is ads: BASTION APP at none against ALPAKA's shown. BASTION APP also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). ALPAKA's advantage is ratings volume (780 vs 130) and review sentiment (59% vs 50%). On price, rating, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for ALPAKA against 4.9 for BASTION APP. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ALPAKA has 780 ratings behind it against 130, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 59% of ALPAKA's written reviews are positive against 50% of BASTION APP's.
ALPAKA ships an update fortnightly, BASTION APP every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
