Verdict
The clearest difference is update cadence: Universal Bites at every 2 days against PDQ Chicken's every 4 months. Universal Bites also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). PDQ Chicken's advantage is ratings volume (1.4K vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.
