I created this app for my Sunday school classes, where we play it together as a group activity—either in person on a large screen or through a video meeting. It works especially well for students in grades 3 and up. Reading skills are not required, making it a great activity for students with special needs. Players simply need some familiarity with the Bible story being used. The teacher or group leader should read the selected Bible passage beforehand, as most of the answers come directly from the story. During play, the leader calls on students one at a time and chooses clues that match each student’s ability. This cooperative format encourages participation and helps everyone succeed. To begin, choose a puzzle and tap a numbered clue. The matching word is highlighted in the crossword grid. The leader can tap individual squares to reveal letters as hints—I often reveal the first letter to make guessing easier. When a student gives the correct answer, tap Reveal to uncover the entire word.
