There is a place beneath the noise. Sanctuary guides you there — through ancient mantras, hand-crafted soundscapes, and haptic mala beads synced to every beat. Not a playlist. A practice. No badges, no streaks, no distractions — just the mantra, the music, and the stillness. Designed for Japa, not just listening. Unlike kirtan albums made for communal singing, Sanctuary is crafted for inner stillness. The melodies are intentionally hypnotic and cyclical — drawing your voice inward, keeping your mind tethered to the mantra in deep, individual practice. Every soundscape is composed, chanted, and recorded exclusively by Jakob Weise — Copenhagen-based producer signed to Reservoir Media, New York. A devoted student of Shrimati Parvathy Baul and deeply rooted in the lineage of Neem Karoli Baba. Two ways to practice. Guided — Jakob chants, the mala follows. Or Manual — tap each bead yourself and let your own voice carry the mantra. Choose 27, 54, or 108 repetitions — or set a timer. Haptic mala beads — feel every repetition. One mantra is yours to keep — forever, free. Unlock the full library with a 7-day free trial. New mantras and soundscapes added regularly. Then just 49 kr / $5.99 per month. Cancel anytime. Verdict
The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Samāveśa at none against Sanctuary's 1. Sanctuary's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs monthly). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.
