Drill Bit Converter performs rapid conversions between Inch Fractional, Inch Decimal, Metric, and Gauge Drill Sizes. Simply select the unit of interest, type in a value, and the nearest equivalent of all other unis will be instantly displayed. When conversions to Inch Fractional or Gauge sizes are not exact, the app will display the amount of error. You can then easily tell if you have an alternative drill bit on hand that is close enough for your project. The app also includes a help display to explain the key features of the app, and it includes several pdf files containing helpful reference charts for drill and tap conversions and selections.
