Drill Calc calculates the correct drill bit size to use for threaded holes, based on the bolt (tap) diameter and thread pitch and percentage, for both inch and metric threads. Close and tight fit hole sizes for many popular drill sizes are also displayed. It also has tables of standard inch fractional and numeric drill bit sizes, as well as complete information for various pipe sizes. If you have ever had to try to figure out which Fractional or Decimal bit is close enough to a particular Metric size, this is the app for you. Drill Bit Converter performs rapid conversions between Inch Fractional, Inch Decimal, Metric, and Gauge Drill Sizes. Simply select the unit of interest, type in a value, and the nearest equivalent of all other unis will be instantly displayed. When conversions to Inch Fractional or Gauge sizes are not exact, the app will display the amount of error. You can then easily tell if you have an alternative drill bit on hand that is close enough for your project. The app also includes a help display to explain the key features of the app, and it includes several pdf files containing helpful reference charts for drill and tap conversions and selections. You can email or print these charts. Printing requires an Air Print Connection. We welcome your feedback and suggestions for improvement. Thanks for considering our offering.
