Verdict
The clearest difference is review sentiment: CarbCam at 100% against Omnipod® 5 Simulator's 20%. CarbCam also leads on rating (5.0 vs 2.1) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 6 weeks). Omnipod® 5 Simulator's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and ratings volume (126 vs 3). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.
