About

SimVoice Medic

The purpose of SimVoice Medic is for use by first responders in scenario-based training. SimVoice Medic contains examples of auditory hallucinations similar to what a person with a mental disorder, such as paranoid schizophrenia, might hear in various scenarios when they are approached by first responders. The role player in the training will wear wireless headphones to hear and react to the audio and the instructor uses the app to control the message of the voices, while the students interact with the role player. SimVoice Medic is a tool to give first responders a better understanding of what people who experience auditory hallucinations might be going through and to train for handling these interactions properly. WARNING This app contains violent content that some users may find disturbing.
