About

Phantom

Features

Phantom-WG is a modular tool that lets you set up and manage a WireGuard VPN infrastructure on your own server. Beyond basic VPN management, it offers censorship-resistant connections, multi-layered encryption, and advanced privacy scenarios. On the server side, those connections are provided by Wstunnel, part of Phantom-Frontmatter. Wstunnel carries your WireGuard VPN traffic over the WebSocket protocol. This app is the client side of that setup: it lets you establish and manage both a plain WireGuard connection and a WireGuard connection carried by Wstunnel (Ghost). New tunnels are imported by pasting the plain text of a .conf directly, or by scanning a QR code. Every imported tunnel stays readable, editable and manageable from the app. A tunnel's logs are kept in memory only; they are readable for as long as the tunnel runs and are never written to disk. The connection can be restarted in place: the tunnel itself stays up and no traffic escapes while it comes back. To set up your own server for use with this app, see phantom.tc/docs or github.com/ARAS-Workspace/phantom-wg The app's source code is open and always auditable: github.com/ARAS-Workspace/phantom-wg/tree/app/ios
