MotionSmartSM is MAPFRE's Usage-Based Insurance program exclusive to Massachusetts customers. It delivers personalized coaching tips to help you become a safer driver! MotionSmart collects and analyzes your driving data and displays an overall driving score utilizing driving events such as braking harshly, hard acceleration, cornering, speeding, and phone use. You could lower your premiums through safe driving! Customers receive a participation discount on the policy when drivers register in-app and start driving. Additional savings are available to customers at renewal based on how safely they drive during the policy term. Best of all there is no plug-in device required like other user based insurance programs, just install the app on your phone and you are good-to-go!
