Ratings based on unrealistic expectations
This app was designed to essentially penalize users and increase their insurance rates to the fullest extent by utilizing rating systems that are not based on true and safe traffic conditions.
The safest speed on the highway is to follow current traffic flow speeds, which sometimes are 5-10 miles over the speed limit. Driving much slower than current highway traffic, even when on the right lane, is actually proven to be much more dangerous, and this app does not account for that.
When driving in the city, you are constantly faced with wildlife that abruptly run in front of your vehicle, or pedestrians who cross the street but not where crosswalks are placed, so you are often forced to quickly brake. This app does not account for that either, and apparently would rather that you hit said wild life or pedestrians than to brake quickly.
Overall, this app is meant to be a means for the insurance company to hike up your premium rates by attempting to deem unrealistic driving conditions as the norm.

this app fails to understand the myriad of reasons why one would be ‘breaking hard’ such as wild life. my score is going down for things that are out of my control and an unreasonable expectation to hold up to. there is more to being a good driver than the facets they rank us on. i would give zero.

bro no wonder this app has such bad ratings. I’m considered speeding for go 70 (speed of traffic) which can affect my insurance going up. The app also said I was hard accelerating when i went up 5 mph in 2 seconds. Do insurance companies understand how an average (non aggressive) driver drives. It also said I was hard accelerating entering the highway. Like yes let me accelerate 5 miles per second as I get on to a highway where cars are going 70 and potentially get rear ended. Please i would love to know if i’m in over my head because this is wild
