Fun And Moving is a digital health routines platform specifically designed for vulnerable populations, those with chronic disease or co-morbidities and those who have not started their “getting healthier” journey. Our platform targets the 92% of the global population that is NOT currently moving regularly. We think of ourselves as the anti-Nike of the world; for those who don’t “just do it.” All routines have been DR, PT, and OT approved and there are no gimmicks or no quick fixes. This is a basic movement platform for most of our population for the long term. Our company’s prevailing idea is to increase healthspan (the healthy living time we have left to live) for all people, NOT simply our lifespan (the time we have left to live) and that is why our founders priced the platform at only $10 per month per household and made it available in over fourteen (14) of the most spoken languages in the world. According to our philosophy, a little movement each day over a long period of time will keep us living healthier over a person’s lifetime. We believe that no equipment should ever be needed and never getting on the floor is the safest for all of us who need a place to start. And from a healthcare perspective, we specifically target those people that cost our global health systems the most. We believe in long term, preventative health which represents a seismic shift in the current healthcare “band-aid” mentality of “I am sick, give me a pill, I am discharged.” Our platform focuses on the weekly recommended 150 minutes of physical activity upon which all global health organizations agree (WHO, CDC, NHS, AMA…). Our 150 minutes-centric strategy is comparable to the current fitness world’s prevailing 10,000 steps. We even built a weekly 150-minute tracker into every user’s profile that specifically shows the number of minutes moved each week and which resets at the start of each new week. And we award medals each week for progress and have a built-in a calendar that records your movement progress daily, weekly, and for the month. This let’s our users see their progress over time. Our goal is for everyone to move for a minimum of 150 minutes per week. That’s it. That’s all it takes. That’s really all it takes to be, and remain, healthy for the long term. With over 1650 routines and 600 content hours, there is something for everyone, including some of our most unique verticals: bed exercises, memory routines, menopause, and even our adaptive series for those who may have lost the use of a limb, whether temporary or permanent, and which are easily accessible from the comfort of one’s home. When any of us is starting out, we don’t want to go to gym, buy the perfect sneakers, have all the perfect clothes, and exercise next to people who have been lifting or running their whole life; sometimes the best place to start is where no one is watching, in the comfort and privacy of our own space. Fun And Moving is a long-term preventative health solution that is designed to be affordable, accessible, and easy-to-use for everyone while specifically addressing the systemic worldwide problem of chronic disease.
