Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: (rem)ember memories at 5.0 against Boulder's 3.9. Boulder's advantage is ratings volume (197 vs 3) and iOS requirement (14.1 vs 16.4). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Boulder sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month and (rem)ember memories sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
(rem)ember memories holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Boulder has 197 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.
