Verdict

The call

The clearest difference is rating: Symptom Tracker゜ at 4.6 against MigraineBot's 3.0. Symptom Tracker゜ also leads on ratings volume (953 vs 2) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 26.0). MigraineBot's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 90%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MigraineBot sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Symptom Tracker゜ sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ReceptionRating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings

Symptom Tracker゜ holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Symptom Tracker゜ has 953 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of MigraineBot's written reviews are positive against 90% of Symptom Tracker゜'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

UpkeepUpdate frequency

MigraineBot ships an update every 3 weeks, Symptom Tracker゜ monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
