Verdict
The clearest difference is review sentiment: Popopie at 100% against Devilinspired's 49%. Devilinspired's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 4.2) and ratings volume (625 vs 21). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
Devilinspired holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Devilinspired has 625 ratings behind it against 21, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Popopie's written reviews are positive against 49% of Devilinspired's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Popopie ships an update fortnightly, Devilinspired every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
