About

Nova Mobile Security

Features

Nova helps you make safer decisions about links, networks and accounts on iPhone. Nova is a lookup tool. You choose something to check — a link, a QR code, an email address, your Wi-Fi connection — and Nova shows you what public databases and your iPhone's own system information say about it. WHAT YOU CAN CHECK • Links and QR codes Look up a link or QR code before you open it. Nova submits the address to VirusTotal, a publicly available URL reputation service, and shows you what it reports, including how many reputation engines have flagged that address. • Data breaches Find out whether your email address appears in known, publicly documented data breaches. Results come from Have I Been Pwned and XposedOrNot. Password checks use Have I Been Pwned's k-Anonymity model, so your full password is never sent. • Wi-Fi connection details View details about the network you are connected to, such as its encryption type, using information your iPhone already provides. • Permission overview See whether camera, microphone and location permissions are granted, as reported by iOS, and open the Settings screens where you manage them. Permissions are controlled by iOS; Nova only displays what iOS reports. • Lookup history Keep a record of the links and email addresses you have checked, so you can look back at earlier results. WHAT NOVA DOES NOT DO Nova does not analyze your device. It does not scan the files or apps on your iPhone, it does not assign your device a security score or status, and it does not tell you whether your device is safe. iOS does not allow apps to do these things, and Nova makes no such claim. Nova does not read your messages, photos or browsing history, and does not monitor other apps. Every lookup is one you start yourself, about an item you choose, and every result describes only that item. SUBSCRIPTION Nova is free to download. A subscription is required to view lookup results. Nova Premium is an optional auto-renewing subscription. It gives you unlimited link and QR code lookups, unlimited email breach lookups, Wi-Fi connection details, the permission overview and your full lookup history. Prices may vary by region and are shown in the app before purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. Your subscription renews automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple Account settings.
