Verdict

The call

YouRace and Pace It both sit at 3.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 85% of YouRace's written reviews are positive against 67% of Pace It's. YouRace also leads on ratings volume (12 vs 4). Pace It's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs monthly). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

CostPrice · In-app purchases · Ads · Monetization

Both are free to download. YouRace sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Pace It sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ReceptionRating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings

Pace It holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 3.8. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 12 and 4 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 85% of YouRace's written reviews are positive against 67% of Pace It's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

UpkeepUpdate frequency

YouRace ships an update monthly, Pace It every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
