Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: DigiMedal at 5.0 against YouRace's 3.8. DigiMedal also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs monthly) and review sentiment (100% vs 85%). YouRace's advantage is ratings volume (12 vs 1) and iOS requirement (18.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. YouRace sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and DigiMedal sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
DigiMedal holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: YouRace has 12 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 85% of YouRace's written reviews are positive against 100% of DigiMedal's.
YouRace ships an update monthly, DigiMedal every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
