About

WorkItOut Indoor Training

Features

Your trainer, doing what you actually need today. WorkItOut connects to your smart trainer over Bluetooth and holds you at the right wattage, so an interval session is something you ride rather than something you manage. It reads your power, cadence and heart rate, tracks what the training is doing to you, and suggests tomorrow's session from that. TRAIN IN ERG MODE Pick a workout and the trainer takes care of the resistance. Every interval holds its target in watts — you just pedal. Live power, cadence, heart rate and time-to-go, in numbers you can read from the saddle. RIDE FAMOUS CLIMBS Alpe d'Huez, Mont Ventoux, Stelvio, Big Sur, the Ring of Kerry — real routes built from real GPS and elevation data. In simulation mode the trainer follows the actual gradient, so the resistance rises with the road and the switchbacks arrive when they should. A WORKOUT BUILT FOR TODAY Describe the session you want in plain language — "90 minutes, sweet spot, keep it under an hour of hard work" — and get a structured set of intervals back. Not happy with it? Say what to change and it rewrites the session. Every workout is ordinary intervals underneath: you can see the whole thing, adjust any block, and start whenever you like. KNOW YOUR NUMBERS A guided FTP test — ramp or the classic 20-minute — sets your zones. From there every ride is scored for TSS, intensity factor, normalized power and kilojoules, and the app tracks your training load so you can see whether you are building form or digging a hole. FOLLOW A PLAN Multi-week training plans that adapt around the riding you actually did, not the riding the plan assumed. SEE EVERY RIDE AGAIN Full history with power, cadence and heart-rate traces for every session, plus a weekly summary of hours, TSS and rides. TAKE YOUR RIDES ANYWHERE Finished a ride? Export a standard .fit file and upload it to whichever training log you keep. Your data is yours and it leaves in a format everything reads. BUILT FOR THE PAIN CAVE Designed for an iPad on the bars — big numbers, dark screen, nothing to squint at mid-effort. Works just as well on iPhone. WHAT YOU NEED A Bluetooth smart trainer to control resistance. A power meter and heart-rate strap work too, and any of them can be used on their own. Without a trainer connected you can browse workouts, courses, plans and history, but a ride will read 0 W — this app is built around the hardware, not a substitute for it. WHAT'S FREE AND WHAT'S PRO Every course, the FTP test, your full history and .fit export cost nothing, and so does a monthly allowance of AI-built workouts and plans. WorkItOut Pro lifts the AI limit and unlocks the whole workout library. No advertising, in either tier. You can use the app as a guest without creating an account; signing in only exists so your history follows you to another device. WorkItOut Pro is an auto-renewing subscription: $4.99 per month or $39 per year, with a 7-day free trial. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; manage or cancel it in your Apple ID account settings.
