Verdict
The clearest difference is review sentiment: DEVOURPOWER at 100% against Chip City's 71%. DEVOURPOWER also leads on update cadence (every 9 days vs every 3 weeks). Chip City's advantage is ratings volume (2.2K vs 3) and rating (4.9 vs 4.7). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
Chip City holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Chip City has 2.2K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of DEVOURPOWER's written reviews are positive against 71% of Chip City's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
DEVOURPOWER ships an update every 9 days, Chip City every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
