Verdict
The clearest difference is review sentiment: DEVOURPOWER at 100% against Eater's 41%. DEVOURPOWER also leads on rating (4.7 vs 4.1) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). Eater's advantage is ratings volume (63 vs 3). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

DEVOURPOWER holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.1. Written reviews point the same way: 100% of DEVOURPOWER's written reviews are positive against 41% of Eater's.
