Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
Trimlight Edge holds the better App Store score, 2.7 against 2.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Trimlight Edge has 417 ratings behind it against 45, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 21% of Trimlight Edge's written reviews are positive against 33% of GoGVTC's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
