Verdict
The clearest difference is ads: USSSA at none against ACA Athletics's shown. USSSA also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 7 months) and ratings volume (32K vs 2). ACA Athletics's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.6). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for ACA Athletics against 4.9 for USSSA. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: USSSA has 32K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.
ACA Athletics ships an update every 7 months, USSSA every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
