Secrets Editor vs SeedArk Mnemonic Vault

Secrets Editor is a tool to save text files in an encrypted form (passphrase encryption with SHA-256 and AES). When you create a new file, you have to specify a password or a passphrase; it will then be used for authentication when you open the file again.

SeedArk is a fully offline BIP-39 mnemonic vault for storing recovery words from hardware wallets, cold wallets, and self-custody setups. It is not a wallet. SeedArk does not derive addresses, connect to blockchain RPC endpoints, send transactions, or provide buying, selling, swapping, lending, staking, or any financial operation. It does one job: store your mnemonics and optional passphrases as encrypted local records, so you can look them up when you need them. Keychain items are limited to this device and never synchronize through iCloud Keychain. Data files use complete file protection and are excluded from system backups. SeedArk is not meant to replace your paper or steel backup. Your handwritten offline copy should remain the ultimate source of truth. SeedArk is a second layer for daily lookup, organization, migration backup, and local encrypted safekeeping. If you need a connected wallet, market data, trading, address derivation, or on-chain interaction, SeedArk is not that tool.
