The VertALPR app uses an array of state-of-the-art neural networks to recognize and read license plates in real-time, even while driving. Plates are compared against lookup lists in real-time with fuzzy-matching. The only device you need is your phone. USING VERT ALPR IS EASY VertALPR works handheld or while driving. If using a vehicle, simply attach your phone to any windshield or dashboard mobile phone mount. Set the phone to the landscape/horizontal position and begin scanning. COMPARE AGAINST PERMIT, ALLOW, AND DISALLOW (HOT) LISTS IN REAL-TIME Plate captures and list lookups are done in real-time during scanning. VertALPR uses advanced fuzzy-matching techniques for each lookup which allows for partial plate matches. SEARCH SCAN HISTORY WITH LOCATION All scans include the original full frame of capture as well as the license plate cropped image. A geolocation tag is also included and displayed on a map. Full and partial plate searches are supported. MANAGE YOUR ALERT LISTS FROM THE APP Allow and disallow (hot) lists are managed directly in the VertALPR app. You can also add or edit individual plates. GENERATE AND EXPORT REPORTS If you need to generate and export reports, you can generate a CSV report of your scan history. A record of report generation is also created. One App - Two Modes - One Secure Portal. • Spotter Mode - Capture video and speed violation evidence using your Stalker Lidar RLR paired with the Task Force App • Responder Mode - Receive violation alert - join the event, make the stop, add photos or video to the evidence file • Secure Evidence Portal - All video, audio, photo, and data automatically stored in a secure cloud for access, filtering, and sharing. ■ HOW IT WORKS ■ Stalker Task Force can be used solo using Spotter Mode only, or in tandem with other officers, with one officer using a device in Spotter Mode and the rest using Traffic Stop Mode. SPOTTER MODE In Spotter Mode, when the officer sees a speeding vehicle, they pull the trigger on their RLR, which automatically begins recording a video clip of the incident in the app. Recording stops when the officer releases the trigger, which then sends an alert to the officers using Support Mode. RESPONDER MODE Multiple officers can be logged into Traffic Stop Mode. As soon as a violation is recorded by the Spotter, all devices logged into Traffic Stop Mode will receive a notice in their app. Any officer can accept the notification. When the officer intercepts the offending vehicle, he can document the incident with further photo and video evidence, which is also recorded in the Evidence Portal. SECURE EVIDENCE PORTAL Recorded violations are sent from both app modes to the cloud-based Evidence Portal. Users can also view maps that show the location of violations, sort records by date or officer name, review evidence, and export data. ■ DEVICE REQUIREMENTS ■ Pair any Apple phone (running iOS 16 or higher) and a Stalker Lidar RLR with BLE feature.
