Verdict
The clearest difference is review sentiment: XIL Fly at 50% against ftycampro's 3%. XIL Fly also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). ftycampro's advantage is rating (1.5 vs 1.0) and ratings volume (1.2K vs 1). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
ftycampro holds the better App Store score, 1.5 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ftycampro has 1.2K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 3% of ftycampro's written reviews are positive against 50% of XIL Fly's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
ftycampro ships an update weekly, XIL Fly every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
