Split the bill, work out the tip, and get on with dinner. Split & Tip is a tip calculator first: type the amount, pick a percentage, set the number of people, and the split is there. No sign-up, no account, no ads. When the bill is more complicated, point the camera at it. SCAN THE RECEIPT Take a photo or pick one from your library and Split & Tip reads the lines off it — dishes, prices, tax, and service charges. It shows you what it read before anything is added, and tells you when the numbers do not add up to the printed total rather than quietly splitting something wrong. WHO HAD WHAT Tap a person against a line to assign it. Anything nobody claims is split evenly. Everyone's share is worked out to the cent, and the shares always add up to the total exactly. SHARE WITHOUT A SERVER Send the bill as a link or show a QR code. The whole bill travels inside the link itself, in the part browsers never send anywhere — so there is no server holding your dinner, and nothing to leak. The person you send it to just opens it in a browser. TRAVELS WITH YOU Reads receipts in 17 languages — Arabic, Chinese (Simplified), Chinese (Traditional), Dutch, English, French, German, Greek, Hebrew, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Thai and Vietnamese — and 42 currencies, including the ones that do not use two decimal places. It understands a European "1.234,56" as readily as "1,234.56", a yen amount with no decimals at all, and a Kuwaiti dinar with three. KEEPS YOUR BILLS Past bills stay on the phone, searchable, with the receipt photo attached. Export them as CSV whenever you want them somewhere else. BUILT FOR THE AWKWARD BITS - Tax that is already included, and tax that is added on top - Service charges and delivery fees kept out of the tip base, so you are not tipping on a service charge - A gratuity the restaurant already added, spotted before you tip it twice - Discounts, comps and voided lines PRIVATE BY DESIGN No account. No server. No tracking, no analytics, no advertising SDK. Your bills and receipt photos stay on your phone. Nothing about your dinner is sent anywhere.

Split A Tab helps groups split restaurant receipts, calculate tips, and settle up without passing the check around or doing the math by hand. Take a photo of a receipt, upload a receipt PDF, or scan a Split A Tab QR code. The app turns the receipt into an editable tab where you can review items, add or adjust tip, and share the tab with friends. Everyone taps the items they ordered, shared items can be split evenly, and the summary shows each person’s total with tax, tip, and fees included. Split A Tab is built for real group meals: - Scan receipt photos or upload receipt PDFs - Calculate tip from the receipt total - Add or adjust tip before sharing - Review and edit parsed items before sharing - Share a tab by link or QR code - Let each person claim their own items - Split shared dishes across multiple people - Track each person’s subtotal, tax, tip, and total - Open Venmo, Cash App, or PayPal when it is time to pay - Mark people paid or unpaid - View your tab history after signing in Whether you are splitting dinner, drinks, takeout, or a group celebration, Split A Tab keeps the receipt, tip, claims, and payment status in one place.
