Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: Taco Palenque at 4.9 against Dillo Stores's 4.0. Taco Palenque also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (22K vs 8). Dillo Stores's advantage is review sentiment (86% vs 63%) and monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
Taco Palenque holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Taco Palenque has 22K ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 63% of Taco Palenque's written reviews are positive against 86% of Dillo Stores's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Taco Palenque ships an update monthly, Dillo Stores every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 8, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
