The mission of Skyland Fire & Rescue shall be to preserve life and property in the south Buncombe / Asheville area and to promote fire prevention through public education. SFR answers emergency calls throughout the year, ranging from minor medical problems to structure fires. We are a combination department made up of full time employees, part time employees and volunteers.
