About

Probably A Robot

Probably A Robot is an AR care simulation built around the paintings of Keb Cerda. Scan one of the supported paintings to reveal the machine hidden inside it. Once found, you can wake it up, feed it, clean it, oil its parts, play with it, and slowly build your Bond. Each machine reacts to care in different ways. It may be hungry, dirty, unstable, lonely, or simply unsure what it needs. Your task is not to win, but to observe, respond, and keep the machine functioning. The painting is not just a marker. It is the machine’s habitat. The app works like a key, revealing the movement, behavior, and routines that cannot be seen in the painting alone. Features: • Scan Keb Cerda’s paintings to reveal AR machines • Feed, clean, oil, play, and interact through touch • Build Bond through repeated care • Watch each machine react through mood, movement, and feedback • Experience painting as a playable, living system Probably A Robot combines Keb Cerda’s painting practice with AR and game interaction, creating a small care based experience about attention, routine, and trying to understand something that cannot clearly explain itself.
