About

Food Plot Manager

Food Plot Manager gives deer hunters and land managers the tools to plan, plant, and track food plots with precision β€” no guesswork, no spreadsheets, no paper maps. WALK YOUR BOUNDARIES WITH GPS Trace your plot edges on foot and get an accurate boundary polygon and acreage calculation. The app requires strong GPS signal before recording and filters out bad fixes, so your boundaries are reliable. Supports both acres and square feet. TRACK SOIL HEALTH Log soil samples with pH, organic matter, macro and micronutrients, CEC, soil texture, and temperature. See your latest results at a glance on the Summary tab. Knowing your soil is the foundation of a successful plot. LOG EVERY PLANTING Record what you planted, when, at what rate, and how (broadcast or drill). Choose from 28 common food plot seed varieties β€” including clovers, brassicas, cereals, and grasses β€” with university-sourced seeding rates that auto-fill when you select a seed type. TRACK INPUTS APPLIED Keep a history of lime, fertilizer, herbicide, and other inputs. Record quantities, cost, and application dates so you know exactly what went into each plot and what it cost. BUILT-IN CALCULATORS Four calculator modes help you get the math right before you head to the co-op: - Total Needed β€” seed amount for your acreage at a given rate - Bags Needed β€” how many bags to buy for your plot - Area Covered β€” how far your seed on hand will go - Lime Calculator β€” pounds of ag lime needed based on current pH, target pH, and soil texture, with auto-fill from your most recent soil sample SUMMARY DASHBOARD One screen shows the latest soil pH, most recent planting, and last input applied for every plot. Open the app and know where each plot stands. MAP VIEW See all your plots on a satellite map with filled boundary polygons and name labels. Instantly visualize your property layout. iCLOUD SYNC Your data syncs automatically across all your devices via iCloud. Get a new phone β€” your plots come with you.
