RootBase makes it easier to keep track of your plants and stay on top of their care, whether you have a single pothos on a windowsill or a growing collection of aroids and propagations. Instead of following a fixed watering schedule, RootBase learns from your actual watering habits and helps you figure out when each plant needs attention. CARE SCHEDULES THAT MAKE SENSE Every plant is different, and RootBase is designed to account for that. It uses your watering history to help build a schedule for each plant, adjusting as you go. You can also track misting, soaking, self-watering refills, flushes, and fertilizer, with reminders that account for your growing season. A JOURNAL FOR EVERY PLANT Notes, photos, care, repots, and moves all live on one timeline for each plant and propagation. The Journal tab brings your whole collection together, so you can look back at how a plant has grown or browse your photos by month. KEEP TRACK OF YOUR PROPAGATIONS Follow cuttings, leaves, divisions, offsets, seeds, and more as they grow. Add a whole batch at once, log water changes, track each stage of growth, and split a batch when your cuttings need more room. Follow lineage from parent to offspring, and once a propagation is established, add it to an existing plant or give it its own place in your collection. EVERYTHING IN ITS PLACE Keep the details that matter for each plant, including species, location, pot size, and growing medium. Each room has its own page with highlights and photos. Filter your collection by room, type, care history, and more, and save the filters you use most. Search across your plants, propagations, locations, and photos to find what you need without digging through your entire collection. YOUR PLANTS, YOUR DATA No account or sign-up required. RootBase works offline, with optional iCloud Sync to keep your iPhone and iPad up to date. Automatic daily snapshots give you a week of backups on your device, and you can export a complete ZIP backup, including photos, whenever you need one. Reminders are optional, so you decide when RootBase gets your attention.
