About

MonsterKeyboard

Features

Monster Keyboard is an on-device Pokémon spelling companion for iPhone and iPad. Find the right term, teach spellings to iOS, and keep using the keyboard you already know. TEACH IOS SPELLINGS Teach Apple’s on-device text checker Pokémon names and selected terminology while continuing to use the native keyboard. Verification tools help confirm that a spelling is recognized. Apple controls QuickType and autocorrection, so placement of a particular suggestion or correction isn’t guaranteed. FIND THE RIGHT TERM Search names, moves, abilities, items, berries, and locations—even when your spelling is close. Copy a result, save favorites, revisit recent selections, and manage custom terms. Dictionary search works offline. USE IT IN MESSAGES Open Monster Keyboard from Messages, search for a term, and add it to your unsent draft. The picker closes after insertion so you can keep typing. It never reads conversations or sends messages. OPTIONAL GIFS After you explicitly enable online sprites, preview and add an available animation from SpriteCollab. Availability varies. Downloaded assets are cached locally, and artist, source, licence, and modification details are shown before insertion. OPTIONAL CUSTOM KEYBOARD The included custom keyboard offers local suggestions, autocorrection, next-word prediction, swipe typing, key popups, and themes. It works offline and does not request Full Access. The dictionary installer, Find & Copy, and Messages picker do not require enabling the custom keyboard. PRIVACY BY DESIGN There are no accounts, ads, analytics, or tracking. Typed text and searches stay on the device. Online sprites are off by default. If enabled, SpriteCollab and GitHub receive the device’s IP address and requested catalogue or artwork URLs, but Monster Keyboard sends no typed text, search strings, or messages. Monster Keyboard is an unofficial fan-made app and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Nintendo, Creatures Inc., GAME FREAK inc., The Pokémon Company, SpriteCollab, or PokéAPI.
