About

Sortis

Features

Every draw leaves proof. Sortis is a random picker for the moments when the result has to hold up: picking a student, running a giveaway, splitting teams, or settling an argument on game night. Instead of asking anyone to just trust the spin, Sortis can publish a cryptographic commitment before the draw and let anyone verify the result afterward. WHY SORTIS • Notary, not casino — Sortis never claims to be "fair"; it claims to be verifiable, reproducible and provable • No ads, no account, no login wall — and it works offline • Nothing to unlock — there's no premium tier 7 DRAW TOOLS • Wheel — spin for one winner, with a no-repeat mode for classrooms and a Quick, Normal or Long spin • Dice — roll any notation (2d6, d20, 4d6 keep highest 3, and more) • Coin — a one-tap Yes/No flip • Teams — split a group into teams, balanced by a 1–5 skill level, and keep chosen people on different teams • Raffle — draw winners one at a time from a shared entry list • Order — shuffle a running order for turns, presentations or lineups • Numbers — draw non-repeating numbers from any range LISTS THAT TRAVEL • Reusable, weighted entry lists shared across Wheel, Teams, Raffle and Order • Start from a template — Yes/No/Maybe, days of the week, numbers 1–30, rock-paper-scissors and more • Share a list by QR code so a co-teacher or teammate gets the exact same names • Duplicate a list in one tap — Class 3A becomes Class 3B MADE FOR THE ROOM • Results read aloud, in your language • The screen stays awake during a draw • Shake to draw, a one-tap Yes/No coin, and Siri Shortcuts • 35 languages, achievements, light and dark themes BUILT-IN PROOF • Commit-reveal — publish a SHA-256 hash before drawing, reveal the seed after; anyone can recompute it • Verify screen — paste a share code and get an honest MATCH / MISMATCH / REPRODUCED / INVALID verdict • Draw history — every draw is an append-only, shareable record • Fairness check — run any setup 10,000 times through the real engine and compare against the odds • Share as an image — a result card with the outcome, a hash and how to verify it No ads, no account, no subscription. Every feature works fully offline, forever; the only network traffic is anonymous usage analytics and crash reports. Optional tips keep Sortis free — they unlock nothing, because there's nothing locked.
