Verdict
The clearest difference is review sentiment: Minitable at 50% against Square Coffee's 0%. Minitable also leads on ratings volume (1.2K vs 1). Square Coffee's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 5) and ads (none vs shown). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Minitable sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Square Coffee asks for nothing beyond the download.
Square Coffee holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Minitable has 1.2K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Minitable's written reviews are positive against 0% of Square Coffee's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Minitable ships an update monthly, Square Coffee every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
