Verdict
The clearest difference is ads: StudyArcade at none against Umi's shown. Umi's advantage is ratings volume (2.4K vs 2) and rating (4.8 vs 4.5). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.
Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS
Both are free to download. Umi sells 15 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per month and StudyArcade sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $6.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
Umi holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Umi has 2.4K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.
Umi ships an update every 10 days, StudyArcade every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
