Verdict
The clearest difference is review sentiment: MB Link Connect at 100% against Discount Power's 46%. Discount Power's advantage is ratings volume (861 vs 9) and rating (4.9 vs 4.6). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
Discount Power holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Discount Power has 861 ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 46% of Discount Power's written reviews are positive against 100% of MB Link Connect's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
