Drag a home price and watch the payment follow. Open a city's whole inventory record and drag the line to read any market day. HarvRealtor is the Fremont and East Bay housing market, measured, from Harv Balu, REALTOR®, with REALTY EXPERTS® (DRE #02195792). FIVE CITIES, MEASURED EVERY MARKET DAY Fremont, Hayward, Union City, Newark and Milpitas each get their own screen, built from a daily MLS export. Open one for the number of homes on the market, the median asking price, how many are in New status, active and coming soon, the mix by property type, and the spread across price bands, every bar labeled with a count and a percentage. The trend runs back to the start of that city's record, January 2024 for four of the five, and a city that joined later says so on its screen. Switch to one month, three months, one year or the whole record, then drag the line and read any single market day. These screens are statistics, not listings. Tap a city's search button, a price band or a property type to open that search on harvrealtor.com in the browser. A PRICE YOU CAN FEEL Sweep the payment dial from $400,000 to $3,000,000 and the monthly payment follows at the 30 year rate the app has, which the card names. The cash to close estimate under it reads the same price, so one gesture answers two questions. Carry that price into the full calculator and it arrives already filled in. FIVE CALIFORNIA CALCULATORS Mortgage payment, affordability, property tax under Prop 13, closing costs by county custom, and HELOC. Every number is a slider you drag or a readout you tap and type an exact figure into, and choices like county, city transfer tax and loan term are chips and switches you tap. Closing costs knows Alameda and Santa Clara county customs and re-filters the city transfer tax when you change county. The payment calculator picks up the live rate and stops the moment you type your own, with one tap to put it back. Your inputs stay on the device, so nothing has to be retyped. RATES, TODAY AND THE PAST YEAR Today's 30 year and 15 year figures sit at the top of Tools. Under them, a one year weekly line of the 30 year fixed from Freddie Mac's Primary Mortgage Market Survey, readable week by week. WHAT A REMODEL PAYS BACK Twenty projects ranked by cost recouped at resale, from the 2025 Cost vs. Value Report by Zonda Media and Remodeling, for the San Francisco metro, the Pacific region and the nation, with a breakeven mark on every bar. READ, WATCH AND ASK Today's Report is Harv's daily market note, drawn in the app's own type. The Buyer's Guide and the Seller's Guide read in the app, with a section rail that follows where you are. Read the harvrealtor.net blog in the app, every post, and the words read offline. Watch Harv's videos. Search his library of articles, calculators, podcast episodes, city pages and videos, filtered by kind with live counts. Ask for a home evaluation and a person reads it, a real look at your home and your street, not an automated estimate. Send a message and Harv answers it himself. NO ACCOUNT, NO SIGN IN Nothing is gated. The app's own code configures no third party analytics or advertising tags and does not ask for the advertising identifier. What you type into a form reaches Harv's inbox through a form processor, and it is never sold or shared for advertising. A half typed message, your calculator inputs and your light or dark choice stay on the device and go nowhere. Live listing search and email alert sign ups run on Harv's licensed IDX site, harvrealtor.com, which opens in the browser. The listing search screens say so before you press. The market screens carry the Bay East Association of REALTORS® attribution, in the wording the MLS rules require, with the date the figures are from. Serving Fremont, Mission San Jose, Union City, Newark, Milpitas, Hayward, San Jose, Sunnyvale and Santa Clara. Harv Balu, REALTOR®, DRE #02195792, with REALTY EXPERTS®. Equal Housing Opportunity.
