Verdict
The clearest difference is in-app purchases: PiKK at none against SoundEcho's 1. PiKK also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs every 5 weeks) and rating (4.6 vs 4.3). SoundEcho's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (100% vs 80%). On price, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SoundEcho sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. PiKK asks for nothing beyond the download.
PiKK holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PiKK has 15 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of SoundEcho's written reviews are positive against 80% of PiKK's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
SoundEcho ships an update every 5 weeks, PiKK every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
