Ditto is a board of big, tappable squares. Each square holds a piece of text you use again and again — an order set, a template, an address, a reply you type ten times a day. Tap the square and the text is on your clipboard, ready to paste anywhere. The square flashes blue so you know it worked. Made for anyone who types the same things every day: customer replies, sales follow-ups, order sets and clinic reference text, addresses, directions and sign-offs. • Squares as big as your thumb — three across, as many as you need • Folders, and folders inside folders, to group related texts • The Ditto keyboard: your squares inside Messages, Mail, Notes and most other apps — tap one and the text is typed straight in, no copying. It works with "Full Access" left off. • Combine quick taps (turn it on in Settings): tap several squares within 5 seconds and they're copied together, separated by a blank line • Colors, borders, emoji or photos on any square • Chat buttons that jump straight into a Messages conversation • Link to the web: edit your board on a computer at dittotap.com/link, end-to-end encrypted • Share a board: export it as a file, and anyone with Ditto can open it from the Share button • [TODAY], [TOMORROW] and [TIME] become the real date or time when copied • Hold a square to arrange: drag to reorder or drop it onto a folder; tap its ⋯ badge to edit · Light or dark board · English + 16 more languages PRIVACY — WE COLLECT NOTHING Ditto collects no information whatsoever. No account, no sign-up, no analytics, no tracking, no ads. Your squares live on your phone. The keyboard works with "Full Access" left off and never uses the internet, so nothing you type can leave your device. Link to the web is the only feature that goes online, and it's off until you turn it on. Your board is encrypted on your iPhone before it's sent, so our relay can't read it, and the copy is erased 30 days after the last change. PRICE New downloads get Ditto free for their first 4 months (anyone who started using Ditto before version 1.4 keeps a full free year). After that, Ditto Pro is $4.99 per year (auto-renewable) and keeps every square, folder, picture and the keyboard working. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel any time in your App Store account settings. Terms of Use: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/ Privacy Policy: https://dittotap.com/privacy.html

Verdict

The call

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Ditto at 100% against RoutineFlow's 61%. Ditto also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). RoutineFlow's advantage is ratings volume (2.5K vs 5) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 17.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.
