HomeIQ Academy is the homebuyer education app that turns confusion into confidence. Whether you are just starting to think about buying a home or actively working to qualify for a mortgage, HomeIQ Academy gives you a clear, personalized path from "I'm not sure where I stand" to "I'm pre-approval ready." KNOW EXACTLY WHERE YOU STAND Take a quick financial quiz and get your Readiness Score — a personalized number based on your credit, debt-to-income ratio, down payment savings, and learning progress. Your score updates as your finances improve and you complete lessons, so you always know how close you are to qualifying. LEARN WHAT ACTUALLY MATTERS Work through bite-sized lessons built for first-time buyers. No jargon, no fluff — just the information lenders care about, explained in plain language. Topics include understanding credit scores, managing debt-to-income, saving for a down payment, navigating loan options, and preparing for closing. SEE YOUR NUMBERS IN ACTION Use interactive simulators to explore real scenarios before making decisions: - Affordability Calculator — Find out what you can realistically afford. - Rent vs. Buy — Compare the true cost of renting versus owning. - Closing Costs Estimator — Know what to budget beyond the down payment. - Equity Growth — See how homeownership builds wealth over time. - Debt Payoff Scenarios — Find the fastest way to lower your DTI. - Qualification Check — Test whether your numbers meet lender thresholds. GET A PERSONALIZED GAP ACTION PLAN Based on your Readiness Score, HomeIQ Academy identifies your biggest financial gap — credit, DTI, or down payment — and gives you three specific, ranked action steps to close it. No generic advice. Every recommendation is based on your actual numbers. STAY CONNECTED TO YOUR AGENT HomeIQ Academy is powered by real estate agents who care about your success. Your agent invited you to the app because they want to help you get ready on your timeline — not pressure you into a premature purchase. Message your agent directly, get guidance when you need it, and move forward together. TRACK YOUR PROGRESS Your home dashboard shows your Readiness Score, current tier (from "Just Beginning" to "Homebuyer Ready"), lesson progress, and next steps — all in one place. Every improvement you make is reflected in your score. HomeIQ Academy is free for buyers. Download it, take the quiz, and find out how close you are to owning your first home.
