Verdict
The clearest difference is ratings volume: talkmaker at 514 against 爬宠圈Pro's 2. 爬宠圈Pro's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.6). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 爬宠圈Pro sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and talkmaker sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
爬宠圈Pro holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: talkmaker has 514 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.
爬宠圈Pro ships an update every 3 weeks, talkmaker every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
