Turn the Eos receiver you already own into a local RTK base station. A local base is the best RTK performance you can achieve. The shorter the baseline, the faster you fix, the longer you hold it, and the better your accuracy holds up exactly where RTK usually falls apart — under canopy, beside buildings, in valleys, and at the edge of network coverage. If you have an Eos Skadi 200, 300 or Gold, you already have the hardware. WHY A LOCAL BASE Network RTK is convenient, but the longer the baseline to the reference station, the worse your rover performs. Atmospheric errors stop cancelling, initialization slows, and fixes drop and take longer to recover. In tough GNSS environments that is the difference between working and waiting. A base station a few hundred feet away removes most of that. Baseline errors shrink toward zero, ambiguity resolution gets faster and more reliable, and a marginal Float solution becomes a consistent Fixed one. Networks also upgrade slowly, because it means touching every station. Reference stations are often limited in the constellations and frequencies they support, and your rover can only use what the reference sends. Your own base is as modern as the receiver in your hand. And one base serves your whole crew, re-broadcasting corrections to every rover on site from a single network connection instead of a subscription per rover. You do not have to choose. Set your base position by network RTK, then work off your own local base — network-referenced coordinates, local-base performance. SET UP IN MINUTES FastRTK2Go walks you through it in five steps: Pick your receiver — pair over Bluetooth and the app confirms it is healthy and streaming before continuing. Choose how to set your reference coordinate. Capture the position. The app configures the receiver for base mode. Broadcast. No terminal commands, no configuration files, no manual RTCM message selection. The app sends the right commands for your receiver, verifies each step took effect, and tells you plainly if something is wrong instead of failing silently. FIVE WAYS TO SET YOUR REFERENCE COORDINATE Auto — no NTRIP account required. Tap once: FastRTK2Go finds the nearest base station, streams its corrections, and averages your position into a precise coordinate. No caster to choose, no mountpoint to look up, no credentials, no subscription of your own — and if the source it picked degrades, it moves you to another without you noticing. The fastest way to stand up a base, and the only one that works before you have bought anything. Network RTK — connect to an NTRIP caster, reach RTK Fixed, and average fixed samples into a precise coordinate. Best accuracy, and the way to augment infrastructure you already pay for. Manual entry — type known coordinates for a monument or control point. Recall a saved location — reuse a site you have set up before. Return to the same project and you are broadcasting in seconds. Approximate — start immediately from the receiver's autonomous position when relative accuracy is what matters. MODERN CONSTELLATIONS AND SIGNALS Broadcasts observations from GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, BeiDou, and QZSS across modern frequencies, so your rovers use every satellite in view — faster initialization and better resilience under obstructed sky. WHILE YOU BROADCAST Live status shows the correction stream, connected rover count, and stream health. Diagnostics track satellite counts, correction latency, and position stability, so you can see your base is healthy at a glance rather than guessing. WHAT YOU NEED An Eos Skadi 200/300/Gold GNSS receiver A clear view of the sky for the base No NTRIP account needed — Auto sets your reference coordinate without one. Bring a FastRTK or your own NTRIP caster to set the position by network RTK. Discovery Management Group Support: https://fastrtk.com/support Privacy: https://fastrtk.com/privacy
