StormRun is a simple to use timekeeper App for any sport - ideal for any timing application involving more than one participant. It is particularly suited for time trial events by allowing any number of participants to start together in each heat. This information can be allocated to Tags to simplify identification. This information can be saved and recalled later. STARTING PARTICIPANTS Participants to be started for each heat are registered by either selecting their details from the previously entered list or by simply reading their ID Tags. When ready, they are started together, and their time is logged. This is then repeated for participants starting in the next heat and so on, until all participants have been started. PARTICIPANTS FINISHING As participants finish, they are either manually entered as they finish or by simply reading their ID Tags. In both cases the time duration is measured, and a leader board updated with finish times and position. It should be noted, it is possible to start participants whilst others are finishing. Also, participants times can be adjusted if necessary. ID TAGS The ID Tags are low-cost items usually worn as wrist straps or can be attached to clothing. Key Features - Standard time trials & handicap races: Choose the format when you create the event. Standard mode runs the master clock from Start Race. Handicap mode records each runner's personal start time, with the gun firing automatically on the first start so the leader is always at 0:00. - Pre-load competitors: Add runners by bib, gender and age group before the race so taps during the event capture finishes, not data entry. Add latecomers on race day, mid-race if needed. - Haptic split feedback: Press SPLIT and feel an instant vibration so you can keep your eyes on the finish line, not the screen. - Flexible bib assignment: Tap a competitor tile to assign the next finisher in real time, or rapidly tap SPLIT during a cluster and assign bibs afterwards. - Cluster recovery with "?": Can't identify one runner mid-cluster? Resolve "?" entries from the Results page when you have a moment. - Missed-start recovery (handicap): Tap REC START for any runner whose bib you didn't catch crossing the start line. A pending strip appears so you can match each anonymous start to a bib once the rush is over. - Edit individual start times: Long-press a handicap competitor to adjust their personal start to an exact mm:ss elapsed from the gun. - Reorder finishers safely: Switch to Reorder mode for up/down arrow controls. Position numbers update live, so accidental drags can't break your results. - Mark DNS / DNF / DQ: Long-press any bib to set status. After Finish Race, any started runner without a finish is automatically classified DNF. - Handicap-aware live results: Each row shows start-from-gun, finish-from-gun and personal time on a single compact line, plus an S1/S2/... rank for the order runners crossed the start line. Group results by gender or age group. - By Line / By Time toggle (handicap): Switch between order-crossed-the-line and fastest-personal-time at the tap of a button. - Name autocomplete: When adding a competitor, start typing and Timing Mate suggests names from your previous events, populating gender and age group in one tap. - Lockable results: Finish the race to lock the data and prevent accidental edits.
