About

FlickGame

Features

Flickgame is a tiny tool for making games out of pictures. A game is 16 pictures. Draw them with your finger. Then pick a colour in one picture and choose which picture it leads to. When someone plays your game and taps that colour, they jump there. That's all there is to it, and you can make a lot with it: stories, mazes, puzzles, jokes, a tour of your house. • Draw with 16 colours, with lots of palettes to choose from • Link any colour to any picture • Try your game without leaving the editor • Your games are kept in a gallery on your device • Send a game to a friend as a file. It opens in Flickgame on their phone or tablet • No accounts, no ads, nothing uploaded anywhere An example game is included to get you started. There's an optional one-time supporter purchase if you'd like to say thanks. It doesn't unlock anything.

Verdict

The call

Pixquare and FlickGame are too close to call on the numbers: across 5 compared parameters — price, ads, in-app purchases and device support among them — neither pulls far enough ahead to decide it. What separates them is feature set and interface, not measurable difference.

Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS

CostPrice · In-app purchases · Ads · Monetization

Both are free to download. Pixquare sells 6 one-off in-app purchases and FlickGame sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
