Gamblers Wags
Read full descriptionHide full description
Gamblers Wags is a peer-support app made for the people who carry the weight quietly — partners, parents, siblings, and friends of someone affected by problem gambling. It is a calm, anonymous space to read, share, and listen. No judgement. No medical advice. Just other people who understand what this feels like. WHAT YOU WILL FIND INSIDE — Community feed: post anonymously, ask questions, and offer support to others walking the same path. — Group chat: a live, gentle conversation for the in-between moments, with a "today's question" prompt to help you start. — Daily tips: short, practical reminders to help you protect your finances, set boundaries, and look after yourself. — Guides: in-depth reading on the things nobody talks about — separating finances, setting healthy boundaries, dealing with broken trust, and protecting yourself emotionally. — Help: quick-access regional crisis resources for the United Kingdom, United States, Australia, and Canada. WHO THIS APP IS FOR This app is for the families and loved ones of someone with a gambling problem. It is not for the person gambling themselves, and it is not a gambling app. A SAFE, FOCUSED COMMUNITY The £1 download fee is a quiet wall against bots, spam, and people looking to cause harm. It keeps Gamblers Wags small, calm, and on-topic. WHAT THIS APP IS NOT This is a peer-support community, not medical advice or professional counselling. It is not a substitute for therapy or financial guidance from a qualified professional. If you or someone you know is in immediate physical danger or crisis, please contact your local emergency services (999 in the UK, 911 in the US/Canada, 000 in Australia) or a dedicated gambling helpline. PRIVACY FIRST You sign up with an anonymous handle of your own choosing. No real name. No phone number. No social profile. We don't ask for or share personal information. You're not alone in this.
