Verdict

The call

The clearest difference is rating: Axon at 4.8 against BlockedTrax's 2.6. Axon also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 1) and ratings volume (1.3K vs 5). BlockedTrax's advantage is review sentiment (50% vs 40%) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). On price, update cadence, ads and monetization model there is nothing between them.

ReceptionRating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings

Axon holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 2.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Axon has 1.3K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 40% of Axon's written reviews are positive against 50% of BlockedTrax's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

UpkeepUpdate frequency

Axon ships an update every 2 weeks, BlockedTrax monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
